Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a 1991 fiction action film. It is the second instalment of the Terminator franchise and the to The Terminator (1984). It was directed by James Cameron and written by Cameron and William Wisher, Jr. The movie Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. The story Sarah Connor (Hamilton) and her son John as they are by a new, more advanced Terminator - the liquid metal, shape-shifting T-1000. It was sent back in to kill John and prevent him from becoming a future leader of the human resistance against the machines. An older, less Terminator (Schwarzenegger) is also sent back in time to John.

Terminator 2 was a significant box office and success. It had an impact on culture, and is considered hugely influential in the of action and science fiction. The film's effects included many breakthroughs in computer-generated imagery, marking the first use of natural human motion for a computer- character and the first partially computer-generated main character. It received four Academy Awards for makeup, sound , sound editing, and visual effects. Rotten Tomatoes.com said: "Terminator 2 features thrilling action and eye-popping visual effects, but what takes this sci-fi/action landmark to the next level is the of the human (and cyborg) characters."
